TRAVEL CONSULTANT (ASSOCIATE)

We are OUT of this WORLD Travel: A fast-growing travel brand looking to expand our team of associate travel consultants. We’re on the hunt for dynamic, charismatic individuals who are self-motivating to join our team.
This opportunity is open to those with or without previous experience in the travel industry. You’ll be a well-connected person both on- and off-line, who is motivated by achieving sales whilst building long-standing relationships to ensure repeat custom and ensuring a really WOW experience for all who come into contact with you. You’ll understand, and have demonstrated how to source sales, how to convert them with your amazing listening, questioning, probing nature and the touchpoints in between. You’ll thrive on the satisfaction of perfectly matching a dream holiday to the person you’re dealing with and work closely with the team to ensure it is delivered exactly as expected.
This opportunity will enable you to earn 50% of all commissions on any holidays you book, whilst benefiting from the flexibility of being self-employed.
This opportunity is available both a part-time or full-time basis.
THIS IS A COMMISSION-ONLY OPPORTUNITY, NOT A SALARIED ROLE.
THE OPPORTUNITY
To create new revenue streams & sales for our business through new lead generation; you’ll ideally be experienced at sourcing new leads, or have a clear ability to do so.
To promote our services and offers; using a variety of methods including social media to gain customer engagement and sales leads.
Listen, question, identify and quote, and source the right holiday; using our range of suppliers and tour operators.
To successfully manage warm leads through to conversion.
Liaising with customers about any changes and making necessary amendments.
Build and maintain relationships with customers.
To manage data in the relevant CRM system; ensuring pipeline data is well documented, and all data is secured and handled appropriately.
To work collaboratively alongside our team.
Opportunities to attend educational/familiarisation trips in destinations around the world.
Opportunities to attend industry & supplier events for education and networking purposes, both online and in-person.
Opportunities to earn shopping voucher rewards with selected suppliers.
Earn 50% of all commissions on every holiday you book, on a self-employed basis.
ABOUT YOU
Passion for travel with a desire to learn and grow your destination knowledge.
To have a personable interaction style, that fosters strong, long-term relationships.
An ability to generate leads and managing them effectively through to conversion.
Good at detail, including spelling & numeracy etc, ensuring accuracy of data on the systems.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Proficient in using systems, software and social media platforms.
Ability to be successful in an agile environment, to be flexible in style and approach; to pivot easily when required.
Flexible to work around customers’ needs.
Candidates with rich personal experience in travelling will have an advantage.
To do it all with the biggest smile and positive approach!
Someone with a wealth of connections on which to grow their client base.
To be motivated, organised and have the relevant setup to effectively work from home including high speed internet and equipment.
