ANTIGUA

Awash with rose-blush sands and coral-coloured villages, the beautiful island of Antigua is a beach-lovers paradise.

Laying claim to ‘a beach for every day of the year’ the unspoilt and laid-back island of Antigua oozes West Indian charm. Hidden amongst its palm-sheltered shorelines are a plethora of isolated coves and secluded bays to discover, where the coral-filled waters provide spectacular diving and snorkelling opportunities. On land, the yachts lining Nelson’s Dockyard indicate one of the islanders two greatest loves – sailing and cricket - where the annual sailing week regatta and Antigua race week are both key calendar events.

Beyond the water sports and tropical beaches, there is also a rich historical and cultural heritage to uncover with St Johns Museum, offering a fascinating journey into the island’s history.
